昆山市退役军人书法篆刻知识讲座活动真实个人免费上门收购古董反复成功举行
昆山市退役军人书法篆刻艺术盛宴,传承华章展风采 昆山市退役军人事务局 recently organized a bookbinding and calligraphy knowledge lecture event for retired military personnel, showcasing the charm of Chinese culture and art. The event, titled "Transmission of Calligraphy Exhibition: Elegant Brushstrokes," aimed to introduce retired soldiers to the world of bookbinding and calligraphy, allowing them to appreciate the artistic appeal of these ancient crafts.
On April 28th in the afternoon, Mr. Yu Weifang, Deputy Director of the Kunshan Retired Military Personnel Bureau, attended the event and delivered a speech. The bureau had specially invited Master Ma Jiaxiong to lead a masterclass on bookbinding and calligraphy techniques.
Master Ma is an accomplished artist with numerous accolades under his belt. He serves as Vice Chairman of Zhang Hanmo's Gold Stone Seal Research Association (Beijing), Founder & Honorary Consultant at Kunshan Tinglin Printing Society (Kunshan), Art Consultant at China Banking Artists Association (Beijing), Art Consultant at Kunshan City Art Training Industry Association (Kunshan), and Honorary Dean at Kunshan Shixi Book Academy.
During the lecture, attendees were introduced to various aspects of seal carving including learning font styles, brushwork patterns on paper lines, typesetting methods for seals or chops made from woodblocks or metal blocks engraved with intricate designs by hand using chisels or sharp-edged tools called 'chopper', understanding different types of engraving tools used in traditional Chinese printing arts such as bronze stamping dies that are cast into multiple copies before they can be inked onto paper sheets which then become printed documents like books or scrolls; etcetera., each one revealing unique facets about this ancient craft that was once practiced primarily by scholars during their leisure time but now has evolved into an industry worth billions worldwide today!
