昆山市退役军人书法篆刻知识讲座活动探索影响艺术品价格五大因素反复演绎古韵风华
昆山市退役军人书法篆刻艺术盛宴,传承华章风韵 昆山市退役军人事务局 recently organized a bookbinding and calligraphy knowledge lecture event for retired military personnel, titled "The Splendor of Chinese Calligraphy: A Retired Military Personnel's Journey Through the Art of Bookbinding and Calligraphy." The event aimed to showcase China's cultural heritage and guide retired military personnel in learning about bookbinding and calligraphy. On April 28th, afternoon, the city's retired military affairs bureau held this lecture event at their headquarters. Mr. Yu Weiying, Deputy Director of the Bureau, attended the event and delivered an opening speech. The guest speaker was Master Ma Jiaxiong who is a renowned calligrapher and seal carver with extensive experience in teaching art to both children and adults.
Master Ma has been involved in various artistic pursuits throughout his life including painting, ink washes, watercolors as well as traditional Chinese seals carving techniques known as 'chāsī'. He holds several prestigious titles such as being named an honorary advisor to the Kunshan Sheng Xi Academy where he teaches young artists how they can apply these skills into modern art forms like graffiti or street art which blends traditional elements with contemporary themes while still maintaining its core essence from ancient times.
During this special day-long workshop session held on May 15th at Kunshan City Hall (the largest city hall building), there were over two hundred attendees who participated enthusiastically in discussions led by Master Ma Jiaxiong on topics ranging from understanding different types of paper used for making books called 'jiaozi' that are made from rice flour mixed with water which can be molded into any desired shape or pattern then dried before it dries out completely when you touch it gently but firmly enough so that your hand does not leave any marks upon them after pressing down hard enough onto each piece until all four corners become soft smooth surfaces ready for writing without leaving behind any residue left behind during handling process thus ensuring cleanliness when using these tools later on during future sessions!
