全国政协委员、雅昌文化集团董事长万捷先生 recently emphasized the importance of aesthetic education in China, particularly in higher education institutions. Despite the growing recognition of aesthetic education in recent years, there is still a long way to go in terms of its effectiveness. The current situation is that non-art majors at universities do not have access to public art classes as part of their curriculum. To enhance students' visual literacy and sensitivity, Chairman Wan Jie suggests incorporating "university art" courses into the basic curriculum for non-art majors. This aims to cultivate students' appreciation for aesthetics and inner cultivation.
