在长春市文化广播电视和旅游局、长春市美术家协会的共同主办下，吉林艺术学院担任学术支持单位，长春市群众艺术馆、吉林艺术学院油画研究院、吉林省油画学会以及后现代美术馆承办了“时在中春”王建国油画作品展。2022年6月26日上午10:00，这场盛事在后现代美术馆正式开幕。东北师范大学美术学院二级教授殷小烽，以及吉林艺术学院艺术研究院院长王建国，以其对中国写意油画学派的贡献而闻名的王建国教授，是东北写意油画领域的领军人物。他多年来致力于风景油画研究，并以此为题材创作了大量作品。在疫情期间，他利用58天“禁足”时间，用笔记录了城市从大雪纷飞到春暖花开，从空巷到繁华的变化。

这次展览聚焦于王建国教授在2022年3月至5月间创作的一百余幅新作，将持续到7月26日。展览规模达到了90余件高质量的油画作品，为观众呈现了一场独特视觉盛宴。“时在中春”不仅是对一座城市生动刻印，更是对中国力量与决心无声表达。

In this extraordinary spring of the new era, we have experienced a rare and long-lasting cold spell. The sudden outbreak of the pandemic has pressed the pause button on our beloved city for an unprecedented duration of fifty-eight days. But even in isolation and hardship, our city's spirit remains unbroken.

The purpose of this art exhibition is to pay tribute to those unsung heroes who fought against the virus with unwavering dedication and courage. It is also a tribute to our city's resilience and spirit which shines brighter than ever before during these challenging times.

As I grew up in this city surrounded by history and present-day life interwoven together like a rich tapestry. Every corner holds memories that are both personal yet shared by all residents here. This is why I am so passionate about capturing these moments through my paintings.

My artworks reflect not just my love for Longjing but also my admiration for generations past who built this land into what it stands today; they represent hope for its future growth as well as a testament to human spirit that endures through every test time presents us with.
